Seed Swap Set For Saturday In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE -- A free seed swap will give residents an opportunity this weekend to share or trade open-pollinated or heirloom seeds, bulbs and plants.

The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Tri Cycle Farms, 1691 N. Garland Ave., according to a news release.

Participants can swap seeds and garden implements or receive advice from experienced gardeners and farmers.

The event is intended to help preserve Arkansas' agricultural heritage, encourage diverse plant varieties and aid sustainable food production.

Parking is available at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1021 W. Sycamore St.
