W. Blake Holzhauer was promoted by Centennial Bank to regional chief lending officer for Northwest Arkansas. He has worked in several areas of the bank during his 12-year career there, most recently as senior vice president/commercial lending for Centennial Bank in Searcy. His background includes commercial and agriculture loans. He earned a bachelor’s degree with emphasis in corporate finance from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. He also graduated from Barret School of Banking in Memphis and from Southern Methodist University’s Graduate Commercial Lending School in Dallas. He will work at the 1400 E. Joyce Blvd. branch in Fayetteville.

Weichert Real Estate Affiliates Inc. recognized high achievers for 2013 among its franchisees. All awards are based on minimum requirements per award category in gross commission income or units earned in 2013.

At the Weichert Realtors-Downum Group in Springdale, owner Robert Downum said in a news release that Robin Collins was inducted into the 2013 President’s Club and Mark Flake into the Ambassador’s Club. Kevin Fischer, Greg Spencer and Lisa Spencer will be inducted into the WREA 2013 Executive Club. Sales achievement awards were earned by Martha Atkinson, Hope Feiner and Mescha King.

Chasadee Bohannan has joined United Bank as vice president/commercial lender at the main location in Springdale. She has 12 years lending experience and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas.

Vanitha Krishnamoorthy has joined the staff of Casa Montessori School as administrator. Her bachelor’s degree in mathematics is from Ethiraj College in Chennai, India, and her master’s degree in computer applications is from Bharathiar University in Tamil Nadu, India. She started as an elementary teacher at the Matriculation School in Chennai and tutored math students up to 10th grade. Krishnamoorthy was a project coordinator and corporate trainer in India and Sri Lanka. She is pursuing Montessori certifications and early childhood education through the TAPP Registry at Arkansas State University. The Bentonville school was founded by Jyothi Mcminn, director, and serves ages 4 months to 5 years or more.

Kathleen Johnson was presented by the Northwest Arkansas Medical Social Work Group with the Martha Sue Curren Award, which honors professionals in human services for their contributions to their communities. As a licensed social worker, Johnson is employed with Social Work Services at the Healthcare Systems of the Ozarks-Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Fayetteville, where she specializes in the areas of palliative care, medical/surgical, hematology/oncology and former POWs. She has worked at the hospital for 10 years and had seven years of experience with Washington Regional Medical Center’s Hospice program and 16 years in various locations as a certified alcohol and drug counselor. She earned a master’s degree in social work in 1996.

Megan Cuddy was appointed as director of advancement for the Economic Opportunity Agency of Washington County. During her 8½ years with the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce, Cuddy obtained more than $2.5 million in grants for the chamber and Drug Free Rogers-Lowell. She also coordinated Leadership Benton County for the chamber. Her bachelor’s degree is from Missouri State University in Springfield and she has been a certified prevention specialist since 2008, serving on the Arkansas Alcohol and Drug Abuse Coordinating Council.

EOA Inc. helps low-income families succeed economically and socially in Northwest Arkansas. Programs include the Children’s House in Springdale, Head Start and Arkansas Better Chance.

Elon Turner was promoted by IT Services at the University of Arkansas to director of network operations. Previously a senior network engineer, he will oversee network operations, the team that installs and operates the campus’s wired and wireless networks. He will continue to manage work flow for network projects with other colleges and departments, assist in the campus network design and architecture, evaluate products and support the associate chief information officer for campus networks. Turner started at the university in 2008 as a layer 2 network engineer. In his previous role, he managed the $1.5 million annual network budget for internal and external projects and implemented the campus Academic Research Infrastructure network, funded by the National Science Foundation.
