The Little Rock office of the FBI said in the Monday news release that six "pimps" were also arrested in "Operation Cross Country 8," a collaboration among federal authorities, and state and local law enforcement agencies.

In 106 cities across the country, 168 children involved in prostitution were found and 281 "pimps" were arrested, according to the FBI news release.

In Pulaski County, many of those arrested in the operation arranged sexual encounters with undercover officers through Backpage.com, an online classifieds website, according to arrest reports.
