SEARCY BIKE/WALKING TRAIL

Location: Trailhead is at the northwest corner of Berryhill Park on East Moore Avenue.

Length: Out to McRae Elementary School and back is 4.4 miles. Warm up on the 2,000-foot circular trail at the park.

Main attractions: This northern portion of this cross-city trail is a paved, flat hike along a couple of creeks and past open pastures.

Hazards: The trail crosses two major streets. Look both ways.

Dog, bike, tyke friendly? Outstanding for all three — and a perfect trail for small fry to shed those training wheels.
