• Actor-comedian Tracy Morgan has been moved from a hospital to a rehabilitation facility as he recovers from a serious auto accident, his spokesman said Friday. The former star of 30 Rock is showing signs of improvement but has a long road to full recovery, spokesman Lewis Kay said in an email. Morgan suffered a broken leg and broken ribs in the June 7 crash. Kay didn't identify the facility where Morgan is staying, saying only that it is in New Jersey. Morgan's limousine van was hit from behind by a Wal-Mart truck on the New Jersey Turnpike. Morgan's friend, James McNair, 62, of Peekskill, N.Y., was killed, and Morgan and two other men were seriously injured. On Thursday, a report by federal transportation safety investigators said truck driver Kevin Roper was driving 65 mph in the 60 seconds before he slammed into the van. The speed limit on that stretch of the turnpike is 55 mph and was lowered to 45 mph that night because of construction. Roper had been on the job about 13½ hours at the time of the crash, the report concluded. Federal rules permit truck drivers to work up to 14 hours a day, with a maximum of 11 hours behind the wheel. A Wal-Mart spokesman had no comment Thursday on Roper's hours or his itinerary. Roper, 35, of Jonesboro, Ga., has pleaded innocent to one count of death by auto and four counts of assault by auto.

• A person with a rifle fired on a sport utility vehicle carrying rapper Schoolboy Q after a concert at the popular Red Rocks outdoor amphitheater near Denver, but the rapper wasn't hurt, investigators said Friday. Three other people suffered injuries that were not life-threatening in the attack late Thursday in a parking lot at Red Rocks. Investigators did not release a possible motive for the shooting and said they do not know whether Schoolboy Q was targeted. No arrests had been made. "It just happened 12 hours ago. We have a lot to learn," Jacki Kelley, a spokesman for the Jefferson County sheriff's office said Friday. Schoolboy Q, whose birth name is Quincy Matthew Hanley, is from Los Angeles. His most recent album, Oxymoron, debuted at No. 1 earlier this year and reflects his life as a father and former gang member. He and Kendrick Lamar, who was nominated for seven Grammy awards this year, are members of the hip-hop group Black Hippy. Schoolboy Q said Friday on Twitter that he was OK. "im str8...... dont trip," he wrote.
