Rogers Main Street To Host 3rd Friday Event

ROGERS -- Jazz music will fill the air from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday during 3rd Friday activities in downtown Rogers.

A children's arts and crafts gazebo, hosted by Alternique, will offer hands-on activities, according to a Main Street Rogers news release. The gazebo will be on Elm Street between First and Second streets

Members of the Rogers High and Heritage High School football teams will be pitted against one another in a cupcake-eating contest. Each team will be allowed three players to finish a 2.5 pound cupcake in 30-minutes.

The entertainment garden will feature locally brewed beer as well as artisan cheese from Kent Walker.

Downtown merchants and restaurants, with special offers and demonstrations, will remain open until 8 p.m.

Elm Street will be closed during 3rd Friday activities.
