BENTONVILLE -- The annual Northwest Arkansas Dog Walk will be held Saturday.
The event will go from 9 a.m. to noon. The 3-mile walk will start at 10 a.m. at the Bark Park, said Kristin Switzer, event coordinator.
The Bark Park is on the east side of North Walton Boulevard along the North Bentonville Trail.
There will be 15 vendor booths. New Hope Animal Hospital will offer animal vaccinations for $10 and microchips for $20. Both will be done on site, she said.
The event also will feature an agility demonstration.
Registration is $30 for the first dog and $5 for a second dog. Registration will be from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Early registration can be done online at www.nwadogwalk.com.
All proceeds will be divided between the Bella Vista Animal Shelter, Rogers Animal Shelter, Humane Society of Rogers, Centerton Animal Shelter and Lone Pine Animal Shelter, Switzer said.
