Dad's Day concerts

Hot Springs cultural group The Muses will offer their summer concert, "Father's Day Garden Party," part of their subscription series, "The Four Seasons in Art & Song," at 7 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at the Muses Cultural Arts Center, 428 Orange St., Hot Springs. Sculpture dedication

The Central Arkansas Library System will dedicate Celebrate, an outdoor kinetic sculpture by Michael Warrick that includes translations of the word "celebrate" in 46 languages, real and fantastic, including Spanish, Braille, binary code, Klingon, Hawaiian and pig Latin, at 6 p.m. Friday outside the Main Library, 100 Rock St., Little Rock. Banding together

The North Little Rock Community Concert Band and the Pine Bluff Community Band will give a joint concert titled "With Fanfare and Flourish" at 7 p.m. Friday in the Lakewood Village amphitheater, off McCain Boulevard between U.S. 67/167 and North Hills Boulevard, North Little Rock.

North Little Rock Music Director Rico Belotti and Pine Bluff Director Jerry Williams will share conducting duties. The Pine Bluff band will perform The Light Eternal by James Swearingen and an Elton John medley; the North Little Rockers will play John Philip Sousa's Riders for the Flag and a Mamas & the Papas medley. They'll combine for Fanfare and Flourishes by James Curnow, Flourish for Wind Band by Ralph Vaughan Williams, Armed Forces Salute by Bob Lowden and Sousa's The Black Horse Troop and The Stars and Stripes Forever. History walk

The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program's "Walks Through History" tour, 11 a.m. Saturday starting at the Morrilton Depot Museum, 101 E. Bryant First United Methodist Church is hosting the "Under the Big Top" Saline County Health & Wellness Fair, 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in the church's Family Life Center, 508 N. Reynolds Road, Bryant. More than 30 exhibitors will offer screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, prostate cancer, kidney impairment, weight and body mass index, blood glucose levels and mental-health needs. More than two dozen vendors will be selling items at least 20 years old, including furniture, kitchenware and clothing, at the open-air South Main Vintage Market, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at the Bernice Garden, 1401 Main St., Little Rock. Admission is free. The Southern Salt Food Co. food truck will serve breakfast and lunch, and shoppers can play a piano on loan from the nearby McGehee Piano Co.
