The Contigo Autoseal Pitcher (gocontigo.com) is compact enough to fit in most refrigerator doors, yet the BPA-free Tritan (a co-polyester) pitcher holds up to 72 ounces. It comes with two inserts, an ice core for chilling and an open-weave infuser ideal for flavoring water and tea with lemon or herbs. The "autoseal" lid prevents leaks and spills, while keeping the contents fresh and protected from flying invaders. We had a little trouble figuring out how to remove the two-piece lid, and the pour button was a little stiff for one-hand operation, but overall we really like this pitcher. To test the leak- and spill-proof claims we left the pitcher lying on its side, and after nearly an hour not a drop of water had escaped, earning this pitcher a spot at our picnic or on our desk.
