Springdale Har-Ber sprinter Amanda Dillon got her summer off to a sizzling start in the 39th annual Great Southwest Track and Field Classin in Albuquerque, NM last weekend.
Dillon clocked the fastest-ever time for an Arkansas prep athlete in the 400 meters, running the event in 55.20 seconds. The time won’t be recognized by the Arkansas Activities Association as a state record since only times recorded at state or Meet of Champions events are counted as record times.
She also clocked a personal best 24.55 in the 200 at the same meet.
