Dillon Clocks State Best In 400

Amanda Dillon, from Springdale Har-Ber, set a new 7A state record of 55.475 in the girls 400m dash at the State 7A track championship Thursday, May 8, 2014 in Cabot.

Springdale Har-Ber sprinter Amanda Dillon got her summer off to a sizzling start in the 39th annual Great Southwest Track and Field Classin in Albuquerque, NM last weekend.

Lady Tigers Seek Double All-American Status

The Bentonville team of Taylor Mahone, from left, Alexis Rolle, Logan Morton and Jody Knight earned All-American honors with their sixth-place finish in the 4x200-meter relay at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals, which were held June 13-15 at North Carolina A&T. The Lady Tigers had a time of 1 minute, 40.65 seconds in an event that hasn't been regularly run in Arkansas in 10 years. The girls just missed on a second All-American honor when they finished seventh in the 4x100 relay.
