Water, Sewer Work To Close Maple Street In Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE -- A four-block stretch of Maple Street will be closed for three weeks beginning today between Leverett and Lindell avenues, according to a news release.

A larger water main is being installed, and a sewer line is being repaired. The work is part of broader improvements to Maple, on the north side of the University of Arkansas campus.

Both lanes of traffic will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays. Traffic will be detoured during work hours.
