2 killed in crashes on Arkansas roads

Two Arkansans died in separate single-vehicle crashes Saturday.

A Little Rock woman died Saturday afternoon in a car crash on Arkansas 69 in White County, according to a report from Arkansas State Police.

Patricia Mason, 59, ran off the road about 10:48 a.m. while traveling north near Russell, the report states.

Mason overcorrected and hit a concrete culvert and a tree, according to the report.

A Royal man died Saturday evening in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Arkansas 128 and Winwood Lane near Hot Springs, according to a report from Arkansas State Police.

Jayson Ford, 21, collided with a street sign and fence after failing to round a curve and running off the roadway, the report states.

Ford was taken to St. Vincent Hot Springs, where he was pronounced dead at 7:15 p.m. by the Garland County deputy coroner.
