Tommie Ice, 24, was charged with first-degree murder in the April 18 shooting death of Lenard Montgomery. The 25-year-old Montgomery was shot several times in the parking lot of Oak Ridge Apartments, 6201 Mabelvale Cutoff Road. He was taken in critical condition to Baptist Health Medical Center, where he died.

Officers responded to the apartment complex about 10:15 p.m. They reported finding small puddles of blood, several shell casings and two vehicles with bullet holes in the parking lot. They also found a handgun in the parking lot, according to a police report.

Witnesses told police that two groups of three or four men and one woman had been in the parking lot arguing before the shooting. Other details of the shooting were unclear.

Police reported Wednesday that U.S. marshals had located and arrested Ice on Reservoir Road. Ice refused to waive his Miranda rights and give a statement to homicide investigators, according to police spokesman Lt. Sidney Allen. Further details on Ice's arrest were not released.

Ice, who was last known to reside at 4500 Baseline Road, was being held at the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $200,000 bond late Thursday.
