Jeep runs off road, killing teen driver

A Louisiana teenager was killed and an Arkansas woman was injured in a single-vehicle crash early Tuesday in Clark County, state police reported.

Austin Tombrey, 16, of Mansfield, La., was driving a Jeep north on Hardin Road near Okolona when, at about 12:30 a.m., the vehicle rounded a curve, traveled over a bridge, overturned and landed upside down. Tombrey was killed.

A passenger in the Jeep, 19-year-old Abigale Williams, was taken to Baptist Health Medical Center in Arkadelphia.

Conditions were clear and dry when the crash occurred, according to state police.
