BENTONVILLE -- The Friends of the Bentonville Library will host a Scholastic Book Fair just as the school year approaches.
Proceeds from the book fair will benefit the library's children and teen book collections. The fair begins Friday in the Walmart Community Room, according to a news release.
Offerings include cookbooks, best sellers, children's books, teen books and reading and writing accessories. There also will be drawings and prizes each day.
The schedule for the book fair is:
• Noon to 4 p.m. Friday.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.
• 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 6.
• 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 7.
