SPRINGDALE -- A 30-year-old man died following a two-vehicle accident Friday, according to a Springdale Police Department news release.
The man was identified as Jacob Wimmer, 30, of Springdale, in a report by the Arkansas State Police.
The Springdale Police Department was called at 3:27 p.m. Friday to an accident on Don Tyson Parkway, west of the Turner Street intersection.
Two drivers were trapped in their vehicles and had to be removed by Fire Department firefighters before being taken to Northwest Medical Center-Springdale.
John Barry, 65, of Rogers was admitted with serious injuries.
The accident is under investigation.
