SPRINGDALE -- Live Springdale, a community organization, will host a group shop today on Carley Road in Springdale.
The Chic Boutiques Event will have $600 in gift certificate giveaways to those attending along with various discounts and free snacks and drinks, according to a news release.
The event is set for 9 a.m until noon and begins at the Live Springdale tent in front of JR's Salon and Gifts, 1503 Carley Road. Shoppers will be given a loyalty card that will be stamped at each stop along the way and turned in at the Live Springdale Tent for entry into the giveaway drawings.
The focus of these types of orchestrated group shopping events is to expose the Springdale residents to local businesses and their offerings, according to the news release.
