Members of the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette All-Academic Team were nominated by their high school coaches, teachers and administrators. Nominees were required to have an ACT score of at least 27, must have finished in the top 10 percent of their graduating class and made a contribution in at least one varsity sport or school-sponsored athletic activity. Nominees also were asked to submit a resume and provide details of their community service activities.
