Obama Pushes 'Slavery'

When South Carolina Congressman Joe Wilson called out the president for misleading the American people back in 2009, he was right on the button. Wilson was referring to one of Obama's "promises" about the "benefits" of Obamacare.

When Obama says his Medical "reform" agenda (read government socialization of the whole system or 20% of our economy) will give the people the "option" of insurance coverage and that they may keep their own if they wish, he knows better.

Should his desired agenda be answered with the government "option" included, the "option" will go like this: Obama will continue the myth that you have the "option" to stay with or select another insurance provider. That's where the old switcharoo will come in. Obama has plans already in place to regulate the present insurance companies out of existence.

He will force the companies to insure every person with full, cheap, capped policy along with restrictions such as including forced enrollment of people with preexisting conditions, even if they are on their deathbed.

Of course no free market company in any category can exist without making the profit necessary to keep its employees working, pay the exorbitant taxes that Obama will force them to pay and obey the forced and stringent regulations. (Regulations not instituted by the representative you voted for in congress, but dreamed up by overpaid and unelected bureaucrats for the purpose of controlling you and for their own job security.) They will be driven out of business.

With that done what "choice" will the American citizen have? Of course, the government "option" will be the only "option." Obama will then expand and socialize the best medical care system in the world and drive it into bankruptcy just like Social Security and Medicare already are.

I don't think there is a single sentient person in the country who doesn't recognize the fact that Obama is a big government (socialist) adherent. And Obama knows that socialism can only be brought about in America through lies and misleading promises. That he is doing on a daily basis. His actions are right out of the Marxist playbook.

The first major steps in bringing about socialism in any country are the government take-over of the medical system and private property. He is well on his way to accomplishing this as I write this letter.

Folks, we have slipped to the bottom of the slippery slope of collective governance. I can't understand why any intelligent person would want to subject millions of people to what is effectively slavery.

And no mistake about it, socialism is slavery. And Mr. Obama knows that.

How To Be Poor

A short while ago, we saw many groups of fast-food workers across the nation, striking for higher wages. For most, $15 was the hourly wage these groups were demanding as a "livable wage." Since then, the call has gone out to increase the minimum wage to $10 per hour to provide a "livable wage." Because fast-food jobs were never designed to provide wages that could support a family but more for high school kids, college students, and retirees, perhaps those involved in these strikes and demands might take an inward look at themselves.

If you are 30 or older and not retired or a student, take a close look in a mirror to figure why you are still flipping burgers or taking taco orders. Maybe I can provide some insight.

1) If you dropped out of school.

2) If you had a child out of wedlock.

3) If you allowed yourself to become addicted.

4) If you have a bad attitude towards others.

5) If you have become obese.

6) If you have tattoos that can't be covered by regular clothing.

A combination of any two or more of these will pretty much guarantee that you will not be in the upper brackets of salary earning.

The good news is that many of these are correctable.

1) Get a G.E.D. and begin studying for college or a trade.

2) Get child-care services through your state agency to allow you the time to complete your education or band together with other single parents to juggle hours for classes.

3) Get counseling at AA or drug rehab centers in your town.

4) Develop a better attitude toward others. No one is going to promote an employee over other employees if he has a negative effect.

5) Get on a diet and stay on a diet. No, it's not your glands!

6) Have your tattoos removed (laser) or lightened (balm).

Yes, I know there are exceptions to these circumstances. And yes, you may have other reasons holding you back. But merely accepting your "fate" and demanding higher wages will not get you out of this place you've gotten yourself into. Improve yourself and your life will improve. Right now, you're not worth the money.
