SPRINGDALE — Eight people were arrested during the weekend in connection with felony forgery charges.

William Bashlor, 29; Angelina Elliott, 29; Christopher Evans, 30; Erick Picker-Ramirez, 34; Spencer Mason, 32; Michelle Mast, 35; Candice Watkins, 26 and Shawn Cox, 31, were all arrested and the Police Department is trying to find others involved, according to Lt. Derek Hudson.

Reports of stolen checks appearing at businesses and banks in Northwest Arkansas started being reported June 25 to the Spingdale Police Department.

Detectives determined a home in Springdale was the hub for the crimes, Hudson said. Stolen checks, computers, scanners and printers and drugs were found at the house, Hudson said.

Springdale police, Washington County investigators, and agents from the U.S. Secret Service and U.S. Postal Service were involved in the investigation.
