Avett Brothers to perform in NW Arkansas in September

The Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion announced Friday that North Carolina-based Americana band The Avett Brothers will perform in September at the Rogers venue.

The Avett Brothers have released eight full-length albums, with their latest being 2013’s Magpie and the Dandelion. The band announced on its website in May that it was nominated by the Americana Music Association for Duo/Group of the Year. The Americana Honors & Awards will be held Sept. 17 in Nashville, Tenn.

The concert is scheduled for Sept. 26 with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the music beginning at 8 p.m. The venue is at 5079 W. Northgate Road in Rogers.

Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. June 25 and range from $32 to $53.50. Tickets can be purchased by calling the box office at (479) 443-5600 or at www.amptickets.com.
