Cox Communications to carry SEC Network

Cox Communications announced Wednesday it will carry the SEC Network beginning Aug. 14.

The Atlanta-based company is the largest cable provider in western Arkansas and has more than 6 million customers across 19 states. AT&T U-verse, DISH and Google Fiber have also signed on to carry the network.

Arkansas' first two football games at Auburn on Aug. 30 and at home against Nicholls State on Sept. 7 are scheduled to be televised by the SEC Network at 3 p.m.
