Rogers Optimist Club managed just four hits in a 6-1 loss to North Little Rock in the Junior American Legion Zone 3 baseball tournament Monday night at Morrilton.

The Optimists managed their lone run in the fifth on an RBI-single from Jay Young to score Braden Mabry, who had doubled earlier.

Billy Treacy took the loss on the mound for Rogers, allowing five runs (three earned) on six hits in 5.2 innings of work. He struck out three and walked two.

No Rogers player had more than one hit in the game as the Optimists finished their season 11-12.
