ROGERS -- A Crossland Construction mechanic was found dead Friday at a construction site at 5100 West J.B. Hunt Drive by a co-worker, according to police.

Tracy Williams, 52, of Hindsville, was last seen doing maintenance work on a bulldozer around noon Thursday, said Keith Foster, Rogers Police public information officer. Williams' body was discovered around 10 a.m. Friday under the bulldozer.

"We thought we were responding to a serious accident with possible entrapment," said Fire Chief Tom Jenkins.

"When we arrived on the scene there appeared to be no obvious injuries to the victim. He was under the bulldozer but had no wounds or other injuries, which makes me think he died of natural causes, but that's not my call. The coroner will have to make that determination."

Two attempts were made to reach Crossland Construction, but the offices were closed for the holiday.

The police are still investigating the accident, police officials said.
