Authorities work to identify body found in Fayetteville

Authorities are working to identify the woman whose body was found Wednesday evening in a creek near the Fayetteville Salvation Army, police said.

Dental records are being checked to verify identity, police said.

“At this point we don’t think anything is deemed suspicious about this death,” Sgt. Craig Stout said.
