A gunman in a designer T-shirt robbed a bank in Benton on Tuesday morning, police said.

Shortly before 9:40 a.m., a man walked into the Summit Bank at 1114 Arkansas 35 North, showed a bank clerk a pistol and demanded cash.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the robber ran from the bank on foot, according to Benton police.

He is described as a 5-foot-10 white man whose Affliction brand designer T-shirt was gray.

The robbery remains under investigation.
