Fayetteville

  • Freddie Terry, 47, of 2958 N. Gregg Ave. Apt. 3 was arrested Sunday in connection with aggravated assault and resisting arrest. Terry was being held Sunday at the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
  • Christin Houghton 19, of 31 S. Stadium Drive was arrested Sunday in connection with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, minor in possession of alcohol, careless driving and no proof of insurance. Houghton was released Sunday from the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond.
  • Benjamin F. Weaver, 37, of 238 W. Rock St. No. 3 was arrested Saturday in connection with felony theft by receiving. Weaver was being held Sunday at the Washington County Detention Center on $3,160 in bonds.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

  • Ronald Purser, 49, of 438 Earl Ave. in Winslow was arrested Saturday in connection with possession of a controlled substance. Purser was released Saturday from the Washington County Detention Center on a $1,025 bond.

  • A vehicle was reported stolen at 1 p.m. Saturday at 1111 S.W. A St.
  • Burglary was reported at 1:25 p.m. at 403 S.E. F St., Apt. D.

Fayetteville

  • A burglary was reported at 12:32 p.m. Sunday at 3816 W. Mount Comfort Road. Someone attempted to break into a residence in the last week and bent window screens.
  • A breaking and entering was reported at 10 a.m. Sunday at 2459 N. Robin Road. A vehicle was broken into and a purse was stolen.
  • A breaking and entering was reported at 7 p.m. Saturday at 2414 N. Covington Park Blvd.
  • A theft was reported at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Game X Change, 4000 N. College Ave. Items brought in for sale matched a list of stolen items.
  • A woman told police at 4:15 p.m. Saturday that someone came into her home at 1187 N. Double Springs Road and stole medication.
  • A burglary was reported at 2:45 p.m. Saturday at 1875 N. Glenbrook Place. Electronics were stolen.

Rogers

  • A theft was reported at 3 p.m. Saturday at 719 N. Sixth St.
  • A theft was reported at 11 a.m. Saturday at 4208 S. Pleasant Crossing Blvd. A man said his wallet was stolen while he was getting gas at Walmart.

Springdale

  • A robbery was reported at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at 2337 Hidden Lake St. A man said he was robbed at gunpoint by two black men who ran behind Family Dollar. No further information was available Sunday.
  • Counterfeit money was reported at 4:55 p.m. Sunday at 2763 Johnson Meadows Place, Apt. 104. A woman said she used $100 to pay for items at a local store and received change that included a $20 counterfeit bill.
  • A theft was reported at 4 p.m. Sunday at 7944 Buona Sera St. A credit card was reported stolen and used.
  • A breaking or entering was reported at 11:15 a.m. Sunday at 1880 Par Lane, Apt. 105. A woman reported someone stole her and her friend’s purses Saturday night from an unlocked vehicle at Zabana Night Club, 2323 S. Old Missouri Road.
  • A breaking or entering was reported at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Springdale Country Club, 608 W. Lakeview Drive. A vehicle’s window was broken out and a purse stolen.

FIRE

Springdale

  • A fire broke out in an apartment at 10:15 p.m. Saturday at 200 Carter Ave., Apt. 2. A neighbor saw smoke and fire and pounded on doors to get people out. The fire was under control by about 10:30 p.m. Damage was not severe. The American Red Cross was called for the apartment occupants. No further information was available Sunday evening.
