FORT SMITH — Authorities have arrested a 32-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting in Fort Smith.

Police said 28-year-old Robert Snider was shot multiple times Saturday night at a home in Fort Smith. Authorities said emergency responders took Snider to Sparks Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

Authorities arrested Jonathan Willbourn on suspicion of first-degree murder in the fatal shooting. He remains in the Sebastian County jail, and authorities didn't know whether he had an attorney.

Fort Smith police Sgt. Don Cobb told the Southwest Times Record that the shooting was the result of an argument between the two men at the home.

Authorities have not yet found the weapon used in the shooting.
