Vehicles On Bella Vista Council Agenda

BELLA VISTA — New police cars will be discussed at Monday night’s City Council meeting set for 6:30 p.m. at Highlands Crossing Center.

Alderman will consider buying five vehicles for the Police Department, including one pursuit vehicle, two Chevrolet Equinoxes, one Ford F-150 extended cab pickup and one Ram pickup.

The council also will vote on rezoning land south of the city recently was annexed by voluntary petition. The area includes Cooper Elementary School, a Mercy clinic, two Property Owners Association owned properties, Veterans of Foreign War post and the Veterans Wall of Honor.

The Planning Commission recently recommended the lots be rezoned C-4, with the exception of an association lot and the Veterans Wall of Honor, which the commission recommended as P-1 open space.

Amendments to the 2013 budget also will be discussed.

The meeting is open to the public.
