Fresco Cafe and Pub in Fayetteville cooks up made-to-order items in a modish bistro setting. It was originally set to be a nightclub, but the owners realized the potential for utilizing the space dually as a restaurant.

Offering freshly-prepared food and a wide variety of drinks and cocktails, Fresco Cafe & Pub is one of Fayetteville's preferred places for eating and night enjoyment.

Following its slogan "Italian fresh, Fayetteville good," the restaurant offers seasonal soups made with market-fresh ingredients, flatbread pizzas made with hand-crafted crust, house-made potato chips accompanying signature sandwiches, and house-made appetizers with fresh ingredients.

Menu items include bruschetta, spinach artichoke dip, caprese salad, French dip, lasagna and a variety of sandwiches, paninis, flat bread pizzas, dinner entrees, soups and salads.

$7 gets you $14 to spend at Angus Jack

Angus Jack features hand-pattied, fresh, 100-percent Angus beef burgers with no preservatives or fillers. The fast-casual, family-friendly restaurant has a menu focused on quality burgers and sides, including fresh-cut French fries. Gluten-free menu items, including a gluten-free buns are available.

"We have gone to great lengths to offer gluten-free items. There is special preparation – a separate bun toaster, a separate fryer – and we are working with the national gluten-free organization to be certified," owner Ian Cairns said.

Angus Jack is locally owned and operated by husband and wife team Ian and Jean Cairns.

They use the term "Jack It Up" to offer extra toppings, including, but not limited to, jalapenos, a fried egg, pineapple or onion straws.

Other menu items include fish and chips, chicken sandwiches, BLT's, and wraps.

The restaurant also offers shaved ice slushies and hand-dipped milk shakes. There is 20 combinations of flavors, such as strawberry-passionfruit or chocolate-pomegranate.

$5 gets $10 to spend on breakfast or lunch at Ozark Lanes Cafe

The restaurant inside Ozark Bowling Lanes has a consistent menu of classic American food that offers homestyle cooking with hearty portions and lots of flavor.

There is a full breakfast menu served all days that includes omelettes, pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal and a breakfast burrito. Eggs are cooked to the customers preference and served with options including hamburger steak, pork chops or steak. Side items are classic diner favorites, such as hashbrowns, diced potatoes, ham, bacon and sausage.

The lunch menu serves up a grilled cheeseburger, patty melt, Philly cheesesteak, club sandwich, smoked barbecue pork sandwich and B.L.T. offered with fresh-cut fries or tater tots.

There are also salads, chili, open-faced sandwiches, fried appetizers and dinner plates that include mashed potatoes, Texas toast and a vegetable of the day.
