Billy James Thompson, 33, of 909 N.W. A St. was arrested Friday in connection with aggravated assault on a family or household member.

Thompson was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with no bond set.

Fayetteville

Jarod Brewer, 18, of 12573 Arkansas 265 in Prairie Grove was arrested Friday in connection with felony possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of a controlled substance. Brewer was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

Louis Mack, 35, of 132 E.

15th St. was arrested Thursday in connection with felony failure to pay child support and misdemeanor obstructing governmental operations.

Mack was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $1,535 bond.

Sean Terell, 32, of 728 Betty Jo Drive was arrested Thursday in connection with felony forgery and failure to register as a sex offender.

Terell was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

Cody Carney, 21, of 3054 S. School Ave. was arrested Thursday in connection with felony breaking or entering and theft of property. Carney was being held Thursday in the Washington County Detention Center without bond.

Prairie Grove

Charles Gregory, 37, of 410 Zion Church Road in Lowell was arrested Thursday in connection with felony theft by receiving and two counts of fraudulent use of a credit card.

Gregory was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

Springdale

Dustin Staneart, 25, of 19992 Gary Turner Road in Siloam Springs was arrested Thursday in connection with felony possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with purpose, possession of marijuana with purpose, theft by receiving and possession of drug paraphernalia. Staneart was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

Penny Riggins, 26, of 325 Berry St. was arrested Thursday in connection with felony possession and delivery of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor theft by receiving. Rigginswas being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing.

University Of Arkansas Police

Anthony Wheat, 23, of 1900 N. Garland Ave. in Fayetteville was arrested Thursday in connection with felony forgery and violation of probation/suspended sentence, along with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wheat was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $6,520 bond.

Corey Douthitt, 21, of 401 S. Louis Ave. Apt. D in Fayetteville was arrested Thursday in connection with felony forgery. Douthitt was being held Friday in the Washington County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

Washington County Sheriff’s Office

Blaine Collett, 50, and Sonya Collett, 49, both of 1120 S. Jefferson in St.

James, Mo., were arrested Thursday in connection with two counts of felony theft of property. Sonya Collett also faces charges from another department. They were being held Thursday in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond.

Choctaw St., reported a scam at 2:46 p.m. Thursday.

Carley Brown, 6100 S.W.

Rutland Road, reported fraud at 2:50 p.m. Thursday.

Joyce Loftis, 104 N.E. G St., reported a scam at 5:43 p.m. Thursday.

Two burglaries were reported Friday at 700 S.

Thompson St.

Gerarda Herrera reported Thursday the theft of an alarm from her car at 1517 Purple Martin Drive.

Carlos Castillo reported Thursday a burglary at 1830 S. Pleasant St.

A 13-year-old boy from J.O. Kelly Middle School was charged with misdemeanor assault Thursday after playing with a lighter on a school bus and setting a girl’s hair on fire.

A 15-year-old boy at Lakeside Junior High School was charged with misdemeanor arson Wednesday after setting paper towels on fire in a restroom.

Accidents Springdale

Shiloh Street was blocked after a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Huntsville Avenue and Shiloh Street on Friday. One person was injured, but was not taken to the hospital.

A car accident on East Robinson Avenue damaged an electrical box and an electrical pole Thursday.
