COLLEGE FOOTBALL Arkansas to play Toledo in 2015

Arkansas will play host to Toledo in football during the 2015 season, the University of Toledo announced on its website Thursday.

The game will take place on Sept. 12 at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

The Rockets, who finished 7-5 last season, had never played an SEC team in its first 92 years of existence before losing at Florida (24-6) and at Missouri (38-23) in their first two games of 2013.

Toledo will host Arkansas State two weeks after facing the Razorbacks, on Sept. 26.

Arkansas has one other known non-conference game in 2015, a home date on Sept. 19 against Texas Tech. The Razorbacks will face their former Southwest Conference rival Red Raiders in Lubbock, Texas, this fall on Sept. 13.

The Razorbacks are scheduled to open a home-and-home series with TCU in Fort Worth in 2016, as well as play host to Louisiana Tech.

Arkansas’ future schedule includes a two-game series with Michigan, beginning in 2018, and the return game for its 2008 loss at Texas, originally set for 2009, and currently scheduled for the 2021 season.
