Episcopal beats Harmony Grove

HASKELL - Allie Freeman scored 25 points and Episcopal Collegiate led wire-to-wire in a 57-41 victory over Benton Harmony Grove on Friday night.

Freeman hit 3 three-pointers to account for the Wildcats’ first nine points. His fourth three-pointer came at the first-quarter buzzer, giving the Wildcats a 16-7 lead after the first eight minutes.

The Wildcats (8-3, 3-0) built a 27-15 halftime lead and stretched their cushion to 20 points before the Cardinals closed out the quarter by scoring eight of the final 11 points.

Harmony Grove (12-3, 3-2) was led by Mitch Scoggins, who scored 18 points, and Jake Scoggins with 11.
