Rogers man accused of indecent exposure

A Rogers man was arrested Thursday on suspicion of exposing himself to two women and two teenage girls.

Everardo Colindres, 53, was arrested in connection with three counts of indecent exposure and sexual indecency with a child, a Class D felony.

According to court documents, a woman reported at 2:19 p.m. that she was parked at Harp’s in Rogers and when she came out of the business that she observed a man sitting in a green minivan next to her vehicle. The woman saw the man touching himself inappropriately in the van, according to the affidavit of probable cause.

The woman reported that she confronted the man and he zipped up his pants and said he was not doing anything and left the area, the affidavit states. The woman was able to get the license number of the van and provided it to the police, according to court documents.

According to the affidavit, the woman said her 13- and 17-year-old daughters, along with the woman's sister were in her vehicle and witnessed the incident.

Police were able to find the van's owner and he reported that Colindres had been driving the van, the affidavit states.

Colindres was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with a $25,000 bond set.
