A Hiwasse man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of raping a 7-year-old girl.
Nathan Alan Wiese, 31, was being held Friday in the Benton County Jail with a $25,000 bond set. Wiese was arrested in connection with two counts of rape, a Class Y felony.
Bentonville police began an investigation after the girl made disclosures concerning Wiese to her mother, according to court documents.
His arraignment is scheduled for 8 a.m. Feb. 18 in Circuit Judge Robin Green’s court.
