Rogers' Streets Damaged In Winter Storm

December’s ice and snow storm was more than an inconvenience for residents, it damaged city streets, officials said.

Fire Destroys Avoca Home

The charred remains of a house located at 10484 Kays Lane soak in the afternoon sun Friday, Jan. 3, 2013, in Rogers. Frankie Elliot, Avoca fire chief, said the residents of the home were in Branson, Mo. at the time of the fire and no one was injured. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
