Revenue for state a tad off forecast

Department of Finance and Administration Director Richard Weiss handed out copies of the state’s revenue forecasts last month when Gov. Mike Beebe (left) and he stopped by the press room at the Capitol. ON Friday, after reviewing the latest revenue figures, Weiss said Arkansas’ economy is “just muddling along.”

State general revenue in December increased by $15.4 million from a year ago to $533 million, with the state’s economy “just muddling along,” the state’s chief fiscal officer said Friday.
