The winter holiday break ends this week for students in West Fork and Farmington.

West Fork students return to classes Thursday while Farmington students will return to school Friday to begin making up days missed in December because of snow.

Schools in Fayetteville, Springdale, Prairie Grove, Lincoln, Elkins and Greenland reopen Monday following a two-week break.

Schools in Northwest Arkansas lost five or more days in December because of the ice and snow storm that struck the region Dec. 5.

Most Washington County school districts will make up the days missed on upcoming Saturdays, previously scheduled holidays or adding the days at the end of the school year in June.
