Man Faces Felony Charges

A Lincoln man faces felony charges in connection with beating up his wife and smashing a car window with a birdbath, deputies said.

Washington County deputies arrested Kendall Trent Davis, 45, of 10714 N. Old Cincinnati Road in connection with charges of felony aggravated assault, first-degree endangering the welfare of a minor, terroristic threatening, fi rst-degree false imprisonment and third-degree domestic battery.

Davis arrived home at 3:39 p.m. Monday and began throwing things at his wife, Rhonda Davis, 45, according to the arrest report. He pushed her several times, causing her to trip and fall, according to the report.

Rhonda Davis and a 13-yearold girl got into a GMC Yukon to leave, and Kendall Davis grabbed the keys from his wife, according to the report. Rhonda Davis locked the car’s doors. Kendall Davis grabbed a concrete birdbath and used it to smash a car window, according to the report. Kendall Davis then grabbed a shovel and smashed the passenger’s side window, according to the report.

He was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held Thursday without bond.
