FAYETTEVILLE -- Police are investigating a home invasion on Gordon Long Drive.
Sgt. Craig Stout said officers went to 2867 E. Gordon Long Drive Apt. 9, between East Joyce Boulevard and North Crossover Road, at 12:53 a.m. Thursday.
Stout said two people kicked in the front door of the apartment and robbed the resident.
"They were armed with a baseball bat," he said. "One subject was struck in the head but declined medical treatment."
Stout said the intruders took money and a television.
He said police are looking for a man about 6 feet tall and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black mask and blue shirt.
Investigators believe the incident may have been drug-related, Stout said.
