FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas baseball will play a doubleheader Saturday against South Alabama.
The first game of the doubleheader will begin at 12:05 p.m. with the second game beginning 30 minutes after the conclusion of the first. The move was made to avoid a potential cancellation Sunday when winter weather is forecast in Fayetteville.
Freezing rain is expected to begin falling Sunday. Despite a forecast high of 28 degrees, no change has yet been made for the Razorbacks' scheduled Monday game against IPFW.
Arkansas and South Alabama will play their series opener today at 3:05 p.m. at Baum Stadium. The No. 24 Razorbacks are looking for their seventh consecutive win to start the season.
