The University of Arkansas in Fayetteville hosts "The African American Journey to Islam," featuring Richard Turner as part of the Black History Month celebrations, at 3 p.m. Friday in Giffels Auditorium. Turner is a professor of African-American religious history at the University of Iowa. The event is sponsored by the Al-Islam Student Association, the King Fahd Center for Middle Eastern Studies, the African and African-American Studies program and the Multicultural Center.
