Rogers Heritage (7-14, 3-9): Jobst 13, Giesen 12, Britton 3, Seiler 3, Phiilips 3.

Springdale Har-Ber (19-6, 9-3): Redmond 23, Schalk 15, Higgins 7, Hornor 4, Weber 4, Bohannan 3, Chancellor 3, Montgomery 2, Braswell 2.

Paige Redmond scored 23 points and Bailey Schalk added 15 to lead Har-Ber to a 63-34 victory over Heritage at Wildcat Arena. Redmond, a junior guard, made five of Har-Ber's seven 3-pointers on the night.

Har-Ber (19-6, 9-3) won at home after losing two of its last three games, including a defeat at rival Springdale on Tuesday. The Lady Wildcats are in second place in the 7A/6A-West Conference with games remaining against league-leading Fayetteville and Rogers.

"We needed this win for healing purposes," Har-Ber coach Sandy Wright said. "We hadn't been shooting the ball real well lately and tonight the shots started falling. It was like a burden that's been lifted."

Har-Ber won at Heritage behind Marleeya Montgomery, a senior center who scored 13 points. Montgomery scored only two points in the rematch but the combined scoring of Redmond and Schalk picked up the slack.

Har-Ber began to pull away in the second quarter after Schalk scored inside and Redmond followed with a 3-pointer. That combination continued into the second half when Redmond scored on a driving layup and Schalk banked in a shot to put the Lady Wildcats ahead 34-23. Schalk ended the third quarter with another basket before Redmond again scored on a 3-pointer to put Har-Ber ahead 44-28 with 7 minutes, 31 seconds left in the game.

"Redmond hit some big threes to get us going and Schalk got some putbacks," Wright said. "I'm most proud that we played four solid quarters because we've been having letdowns here and there."

Heritage (7-14, 3-9) was competitive for over 21/2 quarters behind the outside shooting of guard Emilie Jobst, who finished with 13 points. Sarah Giesen added 12 for the Lady War Eagles, who only scored 13 points in the second half.

"We were OK at the half, at least competitive," Heritage coach Kevin Ramey said. "Har-Ber outrebounded us terribly in the first game and we tried to take away their inside game. But they hit some open shots from the perimeter and just played much better than we did."
