Temple to hold

morning service

FAYETTEVILLE - Temple Shalom of Northwest Arkansas will have a musical Shabbat service at 10 a.m. today. Music will be provided by Judi Neal and Ellis Ralph of Good Medicine and by Richard Lee and Clarke Buehling.

According to Rabbi Jacob Adler, for many years the Reform movement of Judaism placed its greatest attention on the Friday night service, so much so that many Reform temples have Shabbat morning services only when there’s a bar or bat mitzvah. He said the movement has started a campaign to revive the Shabbat morning service and this service is Temple Shalom’s contribution to the effort.

The temple is at 699 N. Sang Ave. Information is available online at templeshalomnwa.org.
