— New Arkansas defensive backs coach Clay Jennings will make $320,000 annually, according to his letter of agreement signed Monday.

Jennings' contract runs through June 30, 2015. It includes a $100,000 buyout if he leaves prior to Feb. 15, 2015.

The buyout drops to $50,000 between Feb. 16, 2015 and June 30, 2015. The buyout would be waived if Jennings accepted a head coach or defensive coordinator position.

Jennings has spent the last six seasons as an assistant coach at TCU. He replaces Taver Johnson on the Arkansas staff after Johnson left earlier this month for an assistant coach position at Purdue.

Johnson made $250,000 in his role as the team's cornerbacks coach last season.

The Razorbacks' assistant coaches will make a combined $3.205 million next season, which is slightly down from $3.225 million last year. Arkansas' staff had received a cumulative pay raise the last three off-seasons.
