Nine-Hole Golf Club

The Bella Vista Women’s Nine-Hole Golf Club is recruiting new and previous members for the 2014 season.

Dues are $25 for the season, April 7 through October. Play is on Monday mornings at either Berksdale or Kingswood golf courses. The season will start with a welcoming brunch on March 24 at Riordan Hall.

Membership is open to all women who are Bella Vista property owners.

Membership applications will be available Wednesday at the Golf Expo at Riordan Hall or on the Property Owners Association website at bellavistapoa.com or at all clubhouses.

Pieces ’N Patches

Pieces ’N Patches will meet Monday at First Presbyterian Church, 1901 S. 26th St. in Rogers. Pam Goggans from Sager Creek Quilt Shop will present a workshop on “Strippy Blocks.” The workshop will begin at 10 a.m., followed by potluck lunch at noon. Visitors are welcome.

Quilts of Love

The Granny’s Quilts of Love organization is recruiting women to come join in sewing quilts for patients at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.

The Grannys furnish all the materials to make the quilts.

They meet at 9:30 a.m. the third Tuesday of the month at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Church, 1300 N. Davis St.

in Pea Ridge.

Mercedes-Benz

Members and invited guests of the Ozark section of the Mercedes-Benz Club of America will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at Shuler’s Autohaus, 2722 Drake St. in Fayetteville. The event will feature a brunch and tips on maintaining a vehicle’s exterior condition and appearance.

Following the session, members will have lunch at a nearby restaurant.

Owning a Mercedes is not required.

The Bella Vista Ladies Day Out will tour the Fort Smith Regional Art Museum on Tuesday to see the “Valentines: The Art of Romance” exhibit and then lunch at the Williamsburg Kitchen. Participants will meet in the parking lot across the street from the Arvest Bank at Town Center in Bella Vista at 9 a.m. and carpool from there.

James Bright
