Lead Hill student arrested in threat

A boy was arrested at Lead Hill School on Tuesday on suspicion of communicating a death threat concerning a school employee or student, according to information released Friday by the Boone County sheriff’s office.

Lead Hill Superintendent John Davidson asked for assistance from Boone County Sheriff Mike Moore, and deputies responded to the school, according to a news release.

The student was taken into custody and released to Juvenile Services, the sheriff’s office said. An investigation is ongoing.
