A jury has been selected in the aggravated assault trial of former police officer Jeffrey Harris. Opening statements are pending.
Witnesses said Harris and Rex Frederick, at the time a Prairie Grove officer, were drinking April 12 at Billy's Pool Hall in Fayetteville before starting a fight and eventually pulling their guns.
Harris and Frederick were fired by their departments in the wake of the incident.
