CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Al Jefferson scored 30 points, Anthony Tolliver added 22, and the Charlotte Bobcats earned a rare victory over the Dallas Mavericks, 114-89 on Tuesday night.

The Bobcats had lost 17 of 18 against the Mavericks, but they scored 60 points in the paint and tied a season-high with 12 three-pointers to snap Dallas’ five-game winning streak.

Tolliver was 5 of 6 from three-point range, and the Bobcats went 12 of 24 from beyond the arc.

Jefferson was 14 of 23 from the field and reached the 20-point plateau for the 14th time in 15 games. He has averaged 27 points per game during that span.

Dallas’ Dirk Nowitzki sprained his left ankle in the second quarter and was taken to the locker room for observation. He returned in the second half and finished with 16 points in 25 minutes.

CAVALIERS 109, KINGS 99

CLEVELAND - Luol Deng scored 22 points, and the Cleveland Cavaliers avenged a 44-point loss to Sacramento with a victory over the Kings.

The Cavaliers, who were routed 124-80 in Sacramento on Jan. 12, won three in a row for the second time this season.

Anthony Bennett, the No. 1 pick in the draft who has struggled most of the season, recorded career highs with 19 points and 10 rebounds. Dion Waiters added 20 points for Cleveland.

DeMarcus Cousins scored 21 points to lead the Kings.

Noah had his fourth career triple-double and first since Feb. 28, 2013, against Philadelphia. He completed this one with an assist on Gibson’s basket with 9:59 left in the game.

GRIZZLIES 92, WIZARDS 89

MEMPHIS - Nick Calathes and Marc Gasol scored 18 points each, and the Memphis Grizzlies survived a career-best 37 points from Washington’s Bradley Beal to defeat the Wizards.

Beal was unable to convert down the stretch, though, including missing a 21-footer with 12.9 seconds left that would have tied the game.

Zach Randolph split two free throws with 11.5 seconds left to give the Grizzlies the 92-89 lead. John Wall’s three-pointer with about 1 second left rattled around before popping out, giving Memphis the victory.

Randolph, Courtney Lee and James Johnson scored 13 each for Memphis, and Randolph grabbed 10 rebounds. Calathes also had six assists for the Grizzlies.

Nene had 17 points for the Wizards, while Trevor Ariza and Marcin Gortat added 10 points each.
